The Karate Kid movie- a blockbuster

I am not this kinda fond of movies. As I have browse in the internet, there are lots of good movies showing in the theaters this July 2010 or oh this month! My son happened to download some movies like Eclipse (saga of vampires & werewolves), Salt(story of Evelyn Salt, CIA officer who was accused as a Russian Sleeper spy played by Angelina Jolie), Avatar, the last Airbender and The Karate Kid among few to mention.

I have a glimpse of The Karate Kid movie. A story of the kid's determination and indomitable spirit to learn techniques of kung fu under the tutelage of Jackie Chan. To make the story short, Dre played by Jaden Smith won in the kung fu tournament though he his knee was badly injured.

It is so amazing this movie grosses to P60 million in Philippines for 4 days it has been shown in theaters nationwide. Jaden Smith is cute.

You ought to see this movie or you get grab a a DVD copy.

Initially, I thought that the The Illusionist movie was just another fantasy film, with magic, witches, wizards, fights between good and evil, etc. But i was wrong. The movie is well-crafted, the acting is good, simply amazing. No doubt it won in Oscar had other wins and nominations.

I think Mark Baustista and Rachelle Ann Go has to change their minds if they want to be visible again. If the are under constract, then they have to wait for their contract to end.

Nakakantok ang show.

I am observing if Party Pilipina will be a total match to ASAP. This serve as a challenge. My heart is bleeding to hear the cruel fate of a 4 year old boy.

Marc Anthony Bookal, 4, disappeared on December 14 from his mother's home. He had been left in the care of the mother's boyfriend, Cory Byrd, 30.

His body was found Wednesday three blocks from where he was last seen in the town of Newburgh. The boyfriend of Bookal's mother was charged after his disappearance for endagering the welfare of the child and parole violation.

Disney's Maleficent, movie to watch soon

When I was a kid, I almost watched "Sleeping Beauty" several times. In my childish attitude, fairy tale stories can fill my weird imagination or sometimes, putting myself into a character of "Sleeping Beauty." Where there is good character, there is a villain character. Maleficent is the evil character in the story of "Sleeping Beauty."

According to Wikepedia: Maleficent is the self-proclaimed "Mistress of All Evil" who curses the infant Princess Aurora to "prick her finger on the spindle of a spinning wheel and die" before the sun sets on her sixteenth birthday after not being invited to the baby's christening. Maleficent is the Disney's adaptation of the wicked fairy godmother from the original fairy tale.
